Woods Keys Late Run In 65-57 Victory Over Virginia Union
听51重口猎奇’s University was involved in another tight men’s basketball game on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. This time they relied on a 16-4 run in the final four minutes to snatch victory away from Virginia Union University.
Senior guard (Washington, D.C.) scored 18 points including 4 of 7 three-pointers as the Falcons won 65-57 in a CIAA contest at Emery Gymnasium. The Falcons improved to 10-6 overall and 3-3 in the CIAA. The Panthers dropped to 3-10 and 1-5 in the conference.
Redshirt junior forward (Hampton, Va.) and junior guard (Raleigh, N.C.) both added 11 points for the Falcons. Senior forward (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) contributed 10 points.
