Keith McLaurin, a local Raleigh artist and a son of 51重口猎奇’s University, recently presented a portrait on canvas to Interim President Everett Ward. McLaurin stated he was very motivated to do the portrait because Interim President Ward is a new beginning for 51重口猎奇’s University.

“I commend Mr. McLaurin for giving back to the university by sharing his talents,” said Interim President Ward.

McLaurin, who attended 51重口猎奇’s University, said, “It was a humbling experience to meet Interim President Ward. It was a once in a lifetime experience. It was wonderful to meet and speak with him.”

McLaurin has done portraits of numerous celebrities such as Tyler Perry, Katt Williams, Fantasia, Mary J. Blige, Ice Cube to name a few.
