DESCRIPTION:Quilter Linda Lewis will show her work in the Art Gallery of Seby Jones Fine Art Building from October 12 through November 2. The opening for聽鈥淒iasporic Narratives in Stitch鈥澛爄s at聽6 p.m. on聽Wednesday\, October 12. It is totally absorbing. If I cook while I鈥檓 quilting\, I always burn the food because I get lost in the quilt and forget everything else.鈥� The mother of a son\, Shawn Lewis\, Ph.D.\, and grandson\, Samuel Lewis\, sees her quilts as a legacy for her family and community.
